Initiated by Cuma in 2010, Istanbul-Europe Express is a year long project aiming to develop the artistic network within Turkey and Europe with a focus on the Balkans supported by the European Commission’s Grant Scheme programme entitled Civil Society Dialogue – Istanbul 2010 European Capital of Culture.
As a series of three consecutive meetings and establishment of a website, Istanbul-Europe Express 2010 project - in partnership with IETM (International Network for Contemporary Performing Arts) (BE), Relais Culture Europe (FR), Bunker (SI), TIN (Theatre Institute Netherlands) (NL) and Springdance Festival (NL) aims to fertilize the potential of the performing arts sector.
