'Artist's Exchange' that will be organized with the partnership of Springdance Festival (Utrecht, Netherlands) taking place in two different cities Istanbul and Utrecht will be an exchange platform for performing artists, living in Turkey, the Balkans and the Western Europe. This movement will aim to provide the artists of the contemporary performing arts the opportunity to learn more about the profession through praxis and to enrich their artistic vision and expertise in a different environment. 'Artist's Exchange' program will be hosting the "Around the Table" project, that has been developed in the last one and a half years by Anne Kerzerho and Loïc Touzé in partnership with artists from Istanbul.
Developed by Anne Kerzerho ve Loïc Touzé, this project proposes to reunite artists, researchers and, on a larger scale, anyone who has a professional practice involving the body, to exchange their knowledge and approaches. The project's underpinning aim is to improve circulation and dialogue in the exchange of knowledge about the body, that is to be performed in some way, and restoring the role of the citizen in the production of knowledge and practice involving the body.
In the 'Around the Table' project developed by the collaboration of artists from Istanbul upon invitation of Loïc Touzé, several individuals from different professional backgrounds will share their personal experiences and hold conversations about the “body". The Istanbul production of the project will be initiated ÇATI, arAda, boDig, CUMA, Depo and Ebru Yetişkin and the in-progress presentation will be realized on Monday March 7th.
