'What is an ideal institution in the contemporary performing arts production?'
Following the Istanbul Plenary Meeting in 2006, IETM is once more meeting in Istanbul, this time for a Satellite gathering. The IETM aspires to generate a satellite meeting in Istanbul to initiate dialogue, network and cooperation within the Balkan region. IETM Istanbul Satellite Meeting 'What is an ideal institution in the contemporary performing arts production?' will enable the Turkish and European participants to connect with other professionals from the performing art sector (tour managers, venue and festival managers, artists) in the Balkan, Mediterranean region and in the EU. Three days of meetings, debates and visits will create the opportunity of discussing new models of collaboration and coming up with commons solutions to ensure future collaborations.
